Mr. Mouhli studied architecture at the Institut Technologique d’Art, d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme in Tunisia. He got his post-graduate certificate in safeguarding and rehabilitating of historic towns and taught for nine years (2001-2010) as professor and head of the studio of architecture in the Ecole Nationale d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme in Tunis. He joined the Association de Sauvegarde de la Médina (ASM) de Tunis in 1986 as architect and urban planner and became head of architectural and urban planning department and General Coordinator of technical departments in 1995 and became Deputy Director in charge of architecture and Urban planning in 1998.
From 2013 to 2018, Mr Mouhli was appointed General Director of the Association de Sauvegarde de la Médina (ASM) de Tunis as well as General Director of the Arab Foundation for Heritage and Historical Cities and Regional Coordinator of the Regional Secretariat of Africa and Middle East of the Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC).
